It’s the perfect way to keep the holidays in perspective and release some stress through laughter. The show is quick-witted, entertaining, and hilarious!

    Some cool information about BNW:

    • BNW has been creating original comedy and improv in Minneapolis since 1958
    • Longer than any other theatre in the U.S.
    • BNW was founded by Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus aerialist, Dudley Riggs
    • Dudley Riggs decided to start BNW after a near-fatal fall from a trapeze
    • BNW boasts the most comprehensive improv training curriculum in the country

    Gala for Good

    Highlights from the Gala for Good! I always enjoy working with Ann Plans. Ann and her team create amazing events for non-profits. They are organized, supportive, and there’s always a creative surprise. At the Gala for Good, my favorite surprise was the Champagne Dress Performer. (see below)

    Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota celebrated 100 years as leaders in workforce development. Attendees enjoyed a lively cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, participant stories, snapshots of historical milestones and an exciting look to the future.

    Sometimes You Just Have To Dance

    Most littles don’t want to sit for a photo. This sweet little girl just wanted to dance, run, and play so we lived in the moment and captured the fun! Try not to over-plan your photos if you have little kids. The majority of the time, if you have too many expectations, you will be disappointed.  I love these photos and they are my favorite moments to capture. Real moments that live on forever…

    Feminist Love

    After this photoshoot, as I walked to my car, a woman stopped me and said: “You two just made my day and heart, seeing so much feminist love and support made me so happy.”

    Isn’t that awesome?! I had just met Laura with Laura Rae Photography that morning but we were having so much fun and it obviously showed. A reminder that laughter and love spread joy. Smile at someone today, it could change their whole day!

    Her face says it all!

    The NE community always looks forward to the annual Northeast Minneapolis Dog Parade.  They gather at the Historic Main Street Park where there are dog treats, samples and activities. After about 30 minutes, they line up and walk the neighborhood. Below are a few photos that I captured for Steven Scott Management and The M on Hennepin.
